65% of Atlanta homeowners qualify for housing relief

I believe we have all heard so much about the financial crisis and its effects on the bankers and the industry as a whole. At the very heart of this crisis, however, are the homeowners who have just lost their homes or are in the danger of doing so. What is the government doing to ensure that this is minimized?

It is the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. Apparently, 65% of Atlanta homeowners qualify for this aid.
