Loanees tied to LIBOR may now worry

If you have an adjustable-rate mortgage or student loan tied to the London Interbank Offered Rate, I am sure that you are not amused by now that it is rising steeply these past few months. This is because a rise in LIBOR may mean a rise in your loan's interest rate, and when the interest rate is steep, it means you will have to pay a larger interest.
